The "Service" assignments are designed to help students see that excellence is needed not just in the classrooms or in sports, but in all walks of life.
Excellence requires an unselfish attitude. In these assignments, students will focus on being unselfish, especially to family members. Though it is important to be unselfish with our classmates, teammates, and coworkers, it is our family that will remain constant in life. Encourage your student to make sure that everyone in their family knows that they can count on them to be unselfish at all times.
In each level of Service, students can learn about different careers and how serving the community is an important part of each career. Discuss with your student about how the most important part of having a career is using their talents and gifts to serve in their community and not about earning money for material possessions.
